Where does the vive library download files too?

I am considering buying this but in 2 minds whether to buy on the Oculus Store where it is currently cheaper or on Steam, where it has the 1st version included. I have a Rift but I imagine when the Touch controllers become available then the 1st version would be playable.

Is that correct? If so will the option to use the Touch controls like on the Vive become an option that will be put into the Oculus Store version or will Rift owners have to pay to get that implemented? Thanks for your answer and this looks like a brilliant game! PompeyPaul Correct, if we add Achievements and Leaderboards they will be on both Steam and Oculus, they just won't talk to each other.

RamJetz Thanks, I hope you get the game and enjoy it!! We are working hard with our partners to find a solution to deliver the same purchase process on both platforms. Final Approach the original game with motion controllers has Touch support fully implemented, we are just waiting for the controllers to get released.

When that happens, Final Approach will appear on the Oculus Store. Additionally, the Steam version of Final Approach will be playable with Touch controllers. You get to decide which store to buy the game from. Ok thanks but really I want to know if I buy the Oculus Home version now will I later get a free upgrade of the original Final Approach or will I have to buy it again. It matters because if I buy from Steam then the 2 versions are included for same price.

Does that make sense? Originally posted by RamJetZ :. Oh - Kay Thanks :- but actually I went ahead and just bought the Steam version last week as I could not find this information you just shared anywhere and was worried that Oculus would not honor such an upgrade without charging extra. Glad to hear everyone else will get the update. The 4 environments are great but it does not take very long to get through them all and you get left wishing there was just a few extra levels to play about with to keep it all fresh.

Many thanks. This solved my SteamVR "non-start" problem. DLL is missing from your computer" Same here, wont work which is really annoying. The "preparing to launch SteamVR" windows comes of for a couple of seconds then goes away like nothing has happened. Reinstalling doesn't work and neither does any of the tips mentioned in this thread. I Feel like I've wasted my money.

As a result, SteamVR began to run from both steam and its own label, to appear in VR at the touch of a button, and the change in the interpupillary distance worked. In general, everything was as it was after the first installation.

The link Omar provided worked for me, i tried the x64 first and it didn't work, the x86 worked however, I would try all three before moving on.
