Chrome did ask me whether I wished to download a potentially unsafe file which I had arranged in MS Access and downloaded previously without the problem I experienced using Edge. Rat Wrangler. I have a similar issue with Edge, but mine does not give an error, just does not download.

IE 11 on the same PC has no issues with the downloads.
