Thanks rovo, I successfully installed it using Xposed Installer. Maybe it's related to Nougat's or Pixel's special partition layout? Same on my device. Not sure if that's a bug or the new way it works? Even if i choose to install to from the xposed installer, it says Was this issue ever resolved? I'm getting the same error on the new 8. You can always just flash from the xposed app instead of using the zip.
Just keep in mind that the uninstall zip might not work, so keep a backup. I didn't have any magisk modules at the time so that might be why it worked the first time. I think the hard reboot and hot reboot ones are identical, meaning that it cant even access the logs. Something related to permissions on hard reboot vs soft reboot seems like the issue. First Reboot with Also most of the reports above as far as I can tell are from Dirty Unicorns.
